Whether your filling out brackets just for fun or for the office pool we got you covered with a free bracket below courtesy of Cooper's Sports Picks. The opening round of the college basketball tournament starts at the UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio on March 16th followed by the first round on Thursday March 18th-20th with 64 teams and has games taking place in New Orleans, LA , Providence, RI, San Jose, CA, and Spokane, WA.  Syracuse (east), St. Louis (midwest), Houston (south), and St. Lake City (west). The other first and second round games will take place March 19-21 in Buffalo, NY, Jacksonville, FL, Milwaukee, WI, and Oklahoma City, OK.

The Regionals will take place March 25-28 in Syracuse, NY(east), Salt Lake City, UT(west), St. Louis, MO(midwest), and Houston, TX(south) holding the sweet 16 and elite 8 games followed by the Semi-Finals (final four) on April 3 and then the National Championship on April 5th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
 
 
 
   
 
Some fun March Madness Facts:
  •  The first tournament ever took place in 1939 in Evanston, Illinois involving 8 teams
  •  Oregon won the first ever championship
  •  The UCLA Bruins have won more championships than any other team with 11 National Championships
  •  University of Kentucky Wildcats have the second most championships with 7
  •  University of North Carolina and Indiana University have won 5 titles each
  •  The national semifinals are always played on a Saturday, with the national championship played the following Monday
  •  From 1985-2000 the tournament expanded from 53 teams to 64 with 65 teams today (opening round)
  •  The lowest seeded team ever to win it all is: Villanova when they won it all in 1985 as an 8 seed
  •  No 16th seeded team has ever beaten a #1 seed since the expansion to 64 teams
  •  The largest margin of victory came in 1990 when UNLV defeated Duke by 30 points 103-73
  •  The following year UNLV came into the tournament undefeated but lost to the eventual champs Duke
