Last year we made bettors who bet only $200.00 a game $600.00 from the final four and plan to do the same. Call now for final four betting picks and previews from the winner of the Las Vegas Handicapping challenge Coopers Pick.

This game is a match up of Cinderella VCU against last season’s Cinderella in Butler in a game of the 2 highest combined seeds in the history of the Final 4. Yeah, we all know how amazing the run for the Rams have been, but what is even more impressive is that 11th seed VCU has beaten 6th seed Georgetown, 3rd seed Purdue, and top-seed Kansas all by double digits. Now Butler’s road the Final 4 has been bumpier, as in their 4 games they have only won by an average of 3.3 points per game.

In their last games to get to the Final 4 VCU beat Kansas 71-61 and Butler beat Florida 74-71 in OT.

The Rams are a fast paced team that likes to get up and down the court and let fly with the 3 and if the Bulldogs can slow the pace they should easily win this game. VCU did not shoot well overall in the win over Kansas, but they shot lights out from deep and for the game and took 12 3-pointers and only attempted 9 2-pt field goal attempts.

VCU F Jamie Skeen had 26 points and 10 boards hitting 4/7 of his 3-pointers against Kansas and the Butler D has to man up on him and not let him bomb away from deep. The Bulldogs have to contain him and stay in front of floor general Joey Rodriguez and not let him dish out to the open shooters. The Rams will be in a big hole if they cannot run and are forced to score in the half-court game. This is especially the case since VCU only ranks 301st in the nation in rebounds per game. In the Kansas game the Jayhawks had 10 more rebounds than the Rams.

Butler was an afterthought in the Big Dance since Gordon Hayward left for the NBA even though the Bulldogs made it to the finals last season. The 2 key guys for the Bulldogs, who have played great in the big dance, are G Shelvin Mack and F Matt Howard, who communed to score 41 points in the OT win over Florida.

Much like VCU Butler can drain the 3 and each team played great 3-pt defense in their Elite 8 games and the team that can defend the 3 in this game has a great chance to win.

Butler has the experience making it to the championship game last season, so they will not be flustered on the big stage this Saturday night.

This season the Bulldogs were a much better team to throw some green on, at least during the regular season, as they are 19-13-2 ATS and VCU is 18-20.

In the Big Dance each team has covered the spread in every game and Butler is has an Over/Under record of 2-2 and VCU is at 2-3.
