For NFL Odds you would see something like this:
Dallas Cowboys +7 -110
Washington Redskins -7 -110
So if you bet on Dallas to win they would have to lose by no less than 7 points to have your bet pay off as a winner. If you picked the Redskins than they would have to win by at least 7 points for you to get paid. If the game ended with a difference of exactly seven points than it would be a push and you wouldn't win nor would you lose. You get your original bet back and can place another bet.
In many situations you will see whats called Line Movements. This means that the spreads are changing to one side or the other based on the total amount of money wagered on the game or due to an exogenous event that is changing the probability of team X winning. The total Juice or Vigorish Charged may also change. This is the -110 number.
So in this example we have new fees associated:
Los Angeles Lakers -3 -125
Boston Celtics +3 -115
In this sceanrio the total risked amount would be $125.00 to win $100.00 for the Lakers or you could wager $115.00 to win $100.00 on the Boston Celtics.
There are also totals which are the over under and other ways to read lines which need to be explained by a professsional over the phone. If you have any questions at all about betting on Sports than Please call Cooper at 1-888-730-2667 and he will get you started making real money today.
