McNabb still an observer at practice

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb did not practice on Thursday and it appears unlikely he will play Sunday when the Eagles host Kansas City.

McNabb suffered a fractured rib in a season-opening win over Carolina and missed last week's setback to New Orleans. Kevin Kolb made the first start of his career in the loss to the Saints and is expected to be under center again. Jeff Garcia and Michael Vick, back from a league suspension, will serve as the backups.

Additionally, running back Brian Westbrook (ankle) and wide receiver DeSean Jackson (groin) were both absent from the practice field for the second straight day.
