The Bengals (3-4) have lost 3 straight and they need to a win to stay in the AFC North race with the Ravens and the Steelers. They are only 1-2 at home and in their losing streak they are not getting it done on D and Andy Dalton continues to suffer through his sophomore slump. On thing Cincinnati has going for them is they are coming off a bye, so they should be rested for this AFC match up.

Denver (4-3) is in 1st place in the AFC West and Peyton Manning is back to being Manning with the highest QB rating in the NFL. However, the Broncos are only 1-2 away from the Mile High City. The Broncos have been playing good D and they have won 2 straight and their 3 losses on the season have come facing the legit teams of Atlanta, Houston, and New England.

In their last games manning and the Broncos were impressive in their 34-14 win over the New Orleans Saints while the Bengals lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-17.

On the season the Broncos are 4-3 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-3 and the Bengals are at 2-4-1 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-3.

The Broncos have the league’s 4th best passing offense and Manning’s main target is WR Demaryius Thomas, who ranks 3rd in the league in receiving yards and Eric Decker is also playing well. While the Cincy pass rush ranks in the middle of the pack their pass rush is one of the best on the league, ranking 4th with 23 sacks, and it is key that they get to Manning in the backfield and if they do not the 4-time MVP may pick apart their secondary.

Denver RB Willis McGahee rushed for over 120 yards in the win over the Saints and he has to be a major concern facing a struggling Cincinnati run defense that only ranks 22nd in the NFL.

Dalton barely passed for over 100 yards in the loss to Pittsburgh last week, but he does have a couple of solid WR’s in A.J. Green and Andrew Hawkins. He has to avoid the turnover with 6 INT in his last 3 games and of top of that Dalton ranks near the bottom in the league in 3rd down completion percentage. The Denver pass defense ranks a legit 8th in the league and they played great holding the dynamic Saints offense to just over 200 yards in the air.

Bengals’ RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis has struggled all season and there has not been one game where he rushed for over 100 yards or averaged over 4 yards per carry. The Broncos’ run defense ranks a mediocre 15th in the league and with Dalton’s struggles it would really help Cincy out if Green-Ellis can help move the chains on the ground.
